(Diamond Lodge was the first in Auckland to gain this!)
To join you pay a yearly membership of $200.
which includes:
- T-shirt (uniform)
- Added to NZPCA database
- Second year of membership is $100
Rallies
Rallies are held once to twice a month
Normally on Sundays
Rallies are 1.5-2hrs long
Either mounted or unmounted
During these rallies you will be going over work required for you to have your record card signed, this is to build up your knowledge and skills before the exam.
Once the card is filled you are able to sit an exam (testing) to see if you have passed the certificate level.
Certificates
You must have done 2 unmounted and 3 mounted rallies to be able to sit a certificate.
We are able to offer D, D+ and C certificate, Achievement badges and Equine skills certificates.
Mounted rallies are $50 for the hire of the horse. Unmounted rallies are $10.
This option is available to anyone under the age of 25yrs. And does not have their own horse/pony. Or riders who have their own ponies grazing on our property who do not have transport. Grazing is available here at $70 per week.
